12-month cash-flow forecast — will you dip below zero?
Opens from net liquid, adds salary on payday, drops each dated bill on its due day. The low point is what matters.

v1.4Oct 2026Category totals on the subcategory chart. In the Analyst view, each category now has a dashed vertical line in its own colour at this month’s category total, labelled with the amount (Σ), so you can read the whole category without adding up its bars. The shared scale stretches to fit the largest total; the label hides in privacy mode.
v1.3Jul 2026Cash-flow forecast no longer double-counts debt you have already provided for. The forecast opens from net liquidity, which has already subtracted every short-term liability — but it then charged those same debts again as they fell due, once as a dated liability and once as a card-repayment bill. A one-off debt held in cash therefore pushed the curve below zero twice over. Dated liabilities are no longer re-charged when the opening balance is net liquidity (the cash+savings fallback, which deducts nothing, is unchanged). Card bills are no longer charged at all — paying a card moves money between your own cash and your own liability and leaves net liquidity untouched. What does reduce it is the spending, so the forecast now charges forward card spend instead, accrued smoothly day by day rather than as a month-end cliff. That figure is yours to set: a Target card spend per month row on the Dashboard sheet is used verbatim, including zero. Only when no such row exists does the forecast fall back to a run-rate averaged over the last three complete months in Transactions, so an unconfigured workbook still draws a curve.
v1.2Jul 2026Multilingual UI — English, Italian, Spanish, French and German. The language comes from a header picker that remembers your choice; failing that from Config!SETTINGS “Language”; failing that from the browser. Number, date and month-name formatting follow the chosen language unless Config names an explicit Locale, which still wins. Category and subcategory names are never translated — they are shown exactly as typed in the workbook. Privacy-mode figure matching is now rebuilt from the active locale’s thousands/decimal separators and unit words, so blurring still catches every figure outside English. Help badges are keyed off data-help instead of matching English title text. Adding a language is one entry in LANGS and one block in DICT.
v1.1Jul 2026Single common version for private and public use. Every owner-specific value moved out of the code and into the workbook’s Config sheet: currency symbol, locale, owner name, category order, wealth groups, card-repayment accounts, history window and the alert thresholds. Removed the dead alpha-era UI that no longer had anything to draw into. Reconciled three contradictory budget-pace thresholds into one configurable pair. The liabilities chart now splits out whichever debt dominates instead of matching on the word “mortgage”. Same file ships here and in the public repo.
v1.0Jul 2026Decision-first redesign wired directly to the workbook. Overview: on-track verdict, safe-to-spend, hero deltas, auto-insights, net-liquidity goal, 12-month cash-flow forecast, consolidated category trend, wealth donut, click-to-drill budget. Analyst: month-end cash, savings rate, net savings, expenses-by-subcategory (bars + 12-mo diamonds + trend arrows), per-category small multiples, and a collapsible balance sheet / bills / affordability panel. Categories and wealth groups driven by a Config sheet (auto-derived when absent). Continuous monthly + quarterly axes, privacy mode, and help badges throughout.
